A head-on crash between semi-trucks on U.S. 93 killed two California men, Idaho State Police said, after one truck crossed the center line early Thursday.
TWIN FALLS, Idaho — A crash between two semi-trucks on U.S. 93 killed two men from California early on Thursday morning, according to Idaho State Police (ISP).
Police said a 33-year-old man from San Carlos was driving a Freightliner truck south on the highway just before 4:30 a.m. near mile marker 14.3 in Twin Falls County.
Investigators determined that truck crossed the center line before hitting another Freightliner truck head-on. The second truck was driven by a 60-year-old man from Sacramento, who was wearing a seat belt.
Both drivers died from their injuries at the scene, according to ISP. The identities of the two drivers have not been released by authorities.
