Just when it looked like construction was complete on Ash Street, there’s another temporary obstacle for residents and motorists who use that street west of Harrison.
The Kern County Roads Department announced that Ash Street between Tyler Street and Buchanan Street will be closed to traffic again on July 24 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The one-day closure is being done for utility work.
Detours will be available.
