RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – On Sunday, July 26, Artown invites the public to start the morning with an uplifting celebration of music, community, and spirit: “Sunday Morning with the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir” at the Helaine Greenberg Stage at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park.
There is no charge for the show.
Gates open at 10 a.m. and the show begins at 11 a.m.
The Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir brings energy and joyful sound through the rich traditions of black gospel and spiritual music.
Founded in 1986 by Terrance Kelly, this award-winning ensemble unites singers of all backgrounds, faiths, and cultures, creating a vibrant expression of inclusion, hope, and belonging.
The choir moves audiences to their feet with its dynamic and soul-stirring experience rooted in history and passion.
Their music has been featured on Grammy-winning recordings.
Concert-goers are encouraged to bring a picnic, chairs, blankets and water bottles.
Squeeze Play Lemonade will be the event’s vendor.
The event is at 1595 N. Sierra St. in Reno.
