Firefighters were battling a vegetation fire in Santa Clara County Sunday afternoon.
Cal Fire said the fire, dubbed the Mines Fire, sparked in the area of Mines Road north of Del Puerto Canyon Road. It is estimated to have burned 50 acres and has a moderate rate of spread.
