OAKLAND — Investigators with the State Fire Marshal’s Office (FMO) have been requested to examine a structure fire in Oakland. The fire at the Libby Hill Road home happened on Sunday, July 26 at around 1 a.m., according to the FMO.
Authorities say their initial observations indicate the fire originated in a juvenile’s bedroom, causing damage to the home’s second floor.
Five children and two adults were inside at the time of the fire, but the FMO says no injuries were reported. The investigation remains ongoing.
