Having just celebrated the 250th anniversary of declaring American independence and underscoring national pride in adopting the US Constitution 11 years later, Coronado citizens are wondering… Can we expect…
To see less “bully” from the bully pulpit… less incivility on the dais in future Council meetings?
Fewer anonymous Freedom of Information Act [FOIA] demands on fellow councilmembers?
Less castigation of individuals and groups who seek to enlighten this council and the Coronado citizenry?
And…finally… can we please have…
Greater collective focus on preserving Coronado’s unique historical, cultural, and small-town values for future generations… and LESS attention paid to partisan attempts to influence decisions on local issues that should be anything but partisan?
I would hope the Council is steered more toward civility than march toward a 2024 election incivility redux.
