BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Roads are open after a woman was found deceased in southwest Bakersfield, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.

Police said they received a call just before 7 a.m. for the report of a woman appearing to be asleep behind the wheel at the intersection of White Lane and Stine Road.

The driver, a woman, received medical aid but was later determined to be deceased.
