NorCal Forecast: Trending Warmer Through the Week
KCRA Meteorologist Tamara Berg times out the intense heat coming into NorCal this week.
Tuesday is starting out pleasant with clear skies and a subtle Delta breeze in the valley. Highs will run a bit above normal.
TUESDAY HIGHS 7/28
Valley: 92-97
Foothills: 89-93
Sierra: 80-85
Wednesday and Thursday will start out pleasant with afternoon highs stepping up a bit. We’ll see more widespread highs into the upper 90s.
STRETCH OF IMPACT DAYS: HEAT
Heat will intensify starting Friday. KCRA Weather Team has Friday 7/31-Monday 8/3 as impact days due to heat for the valley and foothills.
We will see highs in the range of 98-106 during this timeframe in the foothills and valley.
Take time to practice heat safety. Use mornings to do anything strenuous outdoors. Have a place to cooldown in the peak afternoon heat between 3-7pm.
