There are so many neighborhoods in Los Angeles, each with their own personality and vibe, just like the zodiacs. Though there are more neighborhoods than zodiacs, some places just call out to a mysterious Scorpio or a curious Gemini. Every zodiac has their perfect fit in this city; you just have to figure out which place calls out to you.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Aries are known for their bold, ambitious and courageous energy, making Downtown L.A. the perfect neighborhood for Aries. Sometimes they can be loud, but it doesn’t matter when the cars honking and clamoring tourists are loud. Aries can even be impulsive and a little chaotic, but that’s why Downtown is perfect. With the street life and fast-paced environment, it offers endless possibilities to get into trouble and embrace their Aries self.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Taurus is that good old reliable, patient, hard-working and practical person that is always there for their friends and family. They enjoy stability and a touch of nature in their lives, which is why Sherman Oaks is their ideal neighborhood. It’s a slightly slower pace than other neighborhoods on the West Side but not too far from the action. The family-friendly suburban area is laid-back, dependable and mellow, usually unchanging, so a Taurus can thrive here.
Gemini (May 21 – June 21)
As a curious, adaptable and witty person, Gemini always knows a place, and it just happens to be in Silverlake. Filled with cozy coffee shops and a community of writers, designers and other creatives, Silverlake is where a social Gemini can appreciate a clever conversation over some matcha. Geminis can get restless, bored too easily and be indecisive, so Silverlake is the ideal place for someone always looking for side quests and new friends.
Cancer (June 22 – July 22)
For someone as nurturing, intuitive and fiercely protective as a Cancer, they need somewhere they can be comfortable and close to nature. Calabasas ticks all these boxes with its high-end, exclusive, yet homey and nature-focused environment. Here, Cancer is farther from the city’s chaos, so they are free to be themselves; they just have to deal with high housing prices and celebrity Home Owners Associations.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)
Leos are confident, creative, warm and generous, while loving the spotlight. They belong where the fame, entertainment, and bright city lights shine the brightest in Hollywood. Hollywood is one of the most famous, forever iconic, larger-than-life neighborhoods in the world, making it a great home for a Leo. As someone who exudes main character energy, Leo is in their element in Hollywood.
Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)
Two things that go great together are Virgo and Culver City. One is a zodiac sign that is analytical, detail-oriented, helpful and practical; the other is a place known for its organization and non-nonsense urban suburb. Virgo always has a plan and it somehow leads to Culver City. With a walkable downtown, plenty of transit options, and community-focused vibe, Virgo can get around Culver City just like home.

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 23)
Libra are the diplomatic, charming, cooperative and social type and would flourish in Beverly Hills. Though the neighborhood is known for being flashy and luxurious, it can be surprisingly quiet and have that small-town energy if they stick around long enough. Libra works best in a secure community, like Beverly Hills. Plus, the gorgeous gardens and shops from all over the world wouldn’t hurt either.
Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 21)
With that intense, private, mysterious spirit, Scorpio, people often forget it’s a water sign too and can never get enough of the beach, specifically the ones in Malibu. Active by day, quiet seaside haven by night, Malibu is the much-needed reprieve for a Scorpio when their social battery runs low. Its canyons and hidden beaches are paradise for a strong-willed Scorpio full of secrets.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
Sagittarius, a sign that doesn’t believe in staying still or being bored for even a minute, is a great fit for Venice. Adventurous, optimistic and free-spirited, Sagittarius can embrace the ocean and eclectic boardwalk culture of Venice. It is hardly ever dull in Venice, so a Sagittarius can always enjoy the neighborhood’s bohemian freedom and breath of mostly fresh air.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)
The hyper-responsible, determined, deeply disciplined Capricorn can take care of themselves, much like Santa Monica. Although it is technically its own city and not a neighborhood, Santa Monica still has its own distinctive energy. If a city had a zodiac sign, Santa Monica would be a Capricorn for its drive wrapped in a clean, controlled environment with an unforgettable view.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)
Aquarius is independent, original visionaries and intellectuals who are full of great ideas. Ideas come to life in Silverlake’s vibrant neighborhood where bohemian meets modern hipster. Attracting musicians, artists, designers, and tech-adjacent minds, Silverlake is practically calling out for Aquarius to move in. The trendy shops and brilliant architecture have many paths for Aquarius to follow so they can find the world of their dreams.
Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)
Pisces stereotypically feel everything. They are empathetic, imaginative, gentle and sensitive, opting for the quiet atmosphere that can nourish their soul. Los Feliz offers all this and more; as a storybook village brimming with creativity, it is fairly walkable and has easy access to nature. When Pisces needs to reconnect with themselves, they have plenty of outlets to express themselves.
