Evacuation order issued for Nevada County fire

The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office issued an evacuation order for a fire burning near Lake of the Pines.

Zone NCO-E394 was under a mandatory evacuation; zone NCO-E005 was under an evacuation warning.

The fire was located in south Nevada County near Sharonjack Road and Highway 49, Cal Fire said.
