BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The parking lots behind the Kern County Administrative Center and the Superior Court’s metro building in downtown Bakersfield will experience delays and limited parking starting Thursday, July 30, due to a paving project.
The work will be completed in two phases.

During both phases, parking will be limited; however, ADA parking spaces will remain accessible. Public access to the County Administrative Center parking structure will be available via N Street. Additional parking can be found in the lot at 1401 M Street.
Work will be completed in two phases to minimize disruptions while maintaining access to the County Administrative Center and the Superior Court Metropolitan Division, Justice Building.
Visitors should expect increased congestion and traffic delays when entering and exiting parking lots during the project and are encouraged to allow extra travel time.
