Every summer has a soundtrack, and few festivals have shaped more of them than Vans Warped Tour. Now one of live music’s most influential gatherings has locked in its return to Long Beach, with the Shoreline Waterfront once again hosting the festival on July 24 and 25, 2027.
The announcement follows this year’s successful Long Beach event, where more than 100 acts delivered a genre-spanning celebration of rock, pop punk, alternative, emo, hip-hop, ska, and more. Established favorites shared the stage with emerging talent, keeping alive the spirit that has defined Warped Tour for generations.
The festival’s evolution continues through its partnership with Insomniac, bringing together live music, skateboarding, action sports, and the sense of discovery that has always been part of the experience. It’s a formula that still feels as exciting today as it did when Warped Tour first rolled across North America.
For founder Kevin Lyman, the return carries personal meaning. Reflecting on the festival’s homecoming, he said, “Working with the City of Long Beach has been an absolute pleasure, and it’s a show I genuinely look forward to every year. Coming back to the city where I got my start as stage manager at the legendary Fenders Ballroom and now bringing Vans Warped Tour here feels like a true full-circle moment. And, of course, it’s an added bonus that they somehow keep ordering perfect weather for us.”
Warped Tour’s reach has grown well beyond its original blueprint. Alongside Long Beach and Washington, D.C., 2026 expanded the festival with Orlando and introduced its first international editions in Montreal and Mexico City, extending its influence to a new generation of fans around the world.
That expansion builds on a legacy few festivals can match. Since launching in 1995, Warped Tour has helped introduce audiences to future icons including blink-182, Green Day, No Doubt, Katy Perry, Eminem, Yellowcard, Bad Religion, NOFX, Limp Bizkit, Sublime, Beck, and countless others, giving emerging acts a platform alongside established names.
The music remains the driving force. With lineups that embrace multiple scenes while encouraging discovery, Warped Tour continues to deliver one of alternative music’s most exciting live experiences and a festival atmosphere that’s become part of music history.
Weekend passes start at an all-inclusive price of $149.98, including processing fees. Tickets go on sale July 31 at 12 p.m. PT, with a $5 down payment securing a spot for next summer’s return to Long Beach.
