Eighteen Jamba locations in Orange County have been selected to test the smoothie chain’s new line of sandwiches that are made fresh in store through Oct. 14.

Previously, Jamba’s grab-and-go food offerings were limited to ready-made sandwiches and wraps. Among the seven new menu items are rotisserie chicken sandwiches and cheese melts.

The 18 OC stores, from Brea to Laguna Niguel, are among 95 Jamba locations in California, Colorado, Nevada and Arizona chosen for testing. The Atlanta-based brand said the menu addition is in response to growing demand for more meal options beyond smoothies.

“This launch marks an important step in Jamba’s ongoing evolution, broadening our menu to better serve guests throughout their day while staying true to the signature Jamba experience,” Vice President of Marketing Kate Morgan said in a statement.

The company’s local competitor, Irvine-based Juice It Up, recently reported total system sales grew 13% year over year in the first half of 2026 and same-store sales were up 9.2%.
