While the motive remains under investigation, authorities said Zhengfeng Bo knew Aikebaer through a prior working relationship.
A search warrant was served Thursday at Zhengfeng Bo’s Irvine home, which he shared with Jianquan Bo, to recover evidence regarding the kidnapping, deputies said.
Jianquan Bo was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder and kidnapping. He remains in custody without bail, the Sheriff’s department said.
