The City of Fullerton will host a public hearing on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 6:30 pm in the City Council Chamber located at 303 West Commonwealth Avenue, to discuss a proposed General Plan Amendment (Project Reference No.: LRP 2026-0005). The amendment seeks to add a new Environmental Justice Element as Appendix N to the city’s General Plan.
This initiative is part of the city’s effort to enhance public engagement in the planning process, and residents are encouraged to participate by asking questions and providing comments. Public attendance will be accommodated both in-person, on a first-come, first-served basis, and remotely through streaming options available on the city’s website at http://www.cityoffullerton.com/agendas, as well as via Spectrum Cable Channel 3 and AT&T U-verse Channel 99.

As outlined in the public notice, the proposed amendment is deemed exempt from further review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) based on the common sense exemption criteria. The Planning Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council following the hearing.
