Van driver flees scene after crash with big rig on Hwy 50, CHP reports

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A van driver ran from the scene after crashing into a big rig on eastbound Highway 50, according to authorities.

The crash was reported on Hwy. 50 west of State Route 99. California Highway Patrol said a van hit the center divider and then crashed into a big rig. 

The van then became disabled in the #3 lane. The driver of the van ran from the scene, CHP said. It is unknown if there are any injuries from this crash.
