(FOX40.COM) — A man was arrested Monday after soaring to new heights — and allegedly trespassing in the process.
Deputies with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a man on the roof of a Safeway on Elk Grove Florin Road in Sacramento County.

The sheriff’s office released a video of deputies working with the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District to reach the suspect, 22-year-old Ruben Duran. The footage shows deputies climbing a fire truck crane to access the Safeway roof and apprehend Duran.
Deputies booked Duran into the Sacramento County Main Jail on charges of trespassing and resisting a peace officer, according to jail records. He was on felony probation and had an outstanding felony warrant before the Monday arrest, the sheriff’s office said.
Duran is ineligible for bail and due to appear in Sacramento County Superior Court on August 5.
