BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Kern County Employers Training Resource is highlighting on-the-job training services and local job opportunities.
Marketing and Promotions Coordinator Marco Paredes joined Eyewitness News Mornings to share more details.
Paredes says both job seekers and employers can benefit from the on-the-job training program.
Job seekers can access full-time paid positions as they advance their skills at no cost.
The program also offers reimbursement for training costs to employers.
Paredes also shared details about an upcoming hiring event with Cazador Staffing.
The company is hiring patient services representatives, medical schedulers, medical administrative assistants and medical billing specialists.
The hiring event is taking place on Thursday, August 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the ETR Recruitment Center on Olive Drive.
