The smell of slow-smoked barbecue is about to hit Coffee Road as Salty’s BBQ prepares to open its doors in Bakersfield.
The new barbecue restaurant will hold its grand opening Thursday at 10 a.m. at 3214 Coffee Road, welcoming the community with slow-smoked meats, classic barbecue favorites and all the fixings.
Barbecue lovers are encouraged to arrive early.
Salty’s owner Jeff Salters gave Eyewitness News an exclusive look at the new restaurant location. He said there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m.
The original Salty’s will temporarily close to shift focus on the new location.
