BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — If you or someone you know is planning to travel to the Kern County area on Interstate 5, expect delays after a multi-vehicle crash.
The CHP’s website said the crash happened at 1:31 p.m. on northbound Interstate 5 near Grapevine Road.
The website said there were four to five vehicles involved in the number one and two lanes.
The crash happened as crews are continuing to extinguish the Buzzard Fire on the other side of the freeway along the southbound side. A view from the Caltrans website shows both responses.
It is unknown if anyone was hurt in the crash.
Expect delays if traveling in the area.
