Body recovered from canal near South P Street in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A body of a man was recovered from a canal near South P Street Wednesday afternoon.

The Bakersfield Police Department said on Wednesday, August 5, at around 2:26 p.m., the department received a call for service, reported in the area of South P Street and Snyder Lane.

Police said a man was found face-down in the canal.

The man was pulled from the canal.
