Fresno,CA — Fresno Skateboard Salvage is a local non-profit organization that gifts free skateboards, safety gear, and accessories to underprivileged youth across Fresno and the Central Valley.
The non-profit is currently running it’s Solano Prison Skateboard Art Auction on eBay. 39 decks are available. Bidding ends at 12PM this Sunday, August 9.
They fund the new equipment by auctioning unique art pieces painted on repurposed skateboard decks by incarcerated artists in California prisons.
“Huge shout out to the men at Solano State Prison in Vacaville, CA who devoted their time and talent to these beautiful pieces.” Fresno Skateboard Salvage.
The group collects old skateboard decks and sends them to incarcerated artists at facilities like Avenal State Prison and Valley State Prison to paint unique graphic designs.
