The Calfiornia Labor Federation held it’s 2026 in Oakland and delegates at the convention talked about their issues.

The California AFL-CIO held its 2026 convention in Oakland, California on August 4, 2026
and delegates talked about the issues that they are facing.

Speakers from the SEIU, ATU and CFT talked about the issues that they are facing.
Also Jane Kim who is a leader of the Working Families Party and who is running for
California Insurance Commissioner talked about her campaign. She was endorsed by
the Cal Fed at their meeting.

The convention under the bylaws is closed to the media and it is not broadcast to the
workers of California who are affiliated members of the Federation and pay for the
convention with their dues.

They convention also vote to support the billionaire tax Prop 40 that will be on the
November ballot.
