Calderon began her career with the city of Long Beach in 1998 as a payroll personnel assistant serving the Police and Public Works departments. She transferred to Public Works in 2006, where she later worked as a recycling specialist before being promoted to administrative analyst in 2019. She returned to the Police Department in 2021 as an administrative analyst in the Support Bureau.
She holds a bachelor of science in occupational studies from California State University, Long Beach. As administrative operations officer, Calderon will join the department’s executive team, providing administrative oversight and helping guide planning, operations and strategic initiatives.
