Sutter Health’s Midtown Farmers Market
The annual Midtown Farmers Market returns this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1050 20th Street. The event features vendors, including local entrepreneurs and artisans, fresh food, music, and interactive activities.
Benson Boone

Tribute to Selena
A tribute to Selena and celebration of Tejano music is coming to Ace of Spades on Saturday. The concert starts at 7 p.m., and tickets can be purchased here.
Hell’s Kitchen (Broadway Musical)
The Broadway musical featuring the music of Alicia Keys is closing out its time at Sacramento’s SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center this weekend. You can catch the show Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 1:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Tickets can be found here.

Yolo County Fair
California’s largest free admission fair kicks off its opening weekend on Friday at the Yolo County Fairgrounds. The event kicks off on Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight and features carnival rides, concerts, and food vendors. Grammy-nominated artist Hunter Hayes is set to perform on Friday at 6:45 p.m., and tickets can be purchased here.
Live Music and Food Truck Night
Great Bear Vineyards in Davis is hosting an evening featuring local wines, food trucks, and acoustic music on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets start at $15 and can be purchased here.
Placer County
Soul Fest ’26
Soul Fest returns to Thunder Valley Casino and Resort on Saturday at 7 p.m., featuring The O’Jays, The Whispers, and The S.O.S. Band. Tickets start at $76 and can be found here.
Reptilian Nation Expo
The annual Reptilian Nation Expo at the Roseville Grounds is returning for its 5th year August 8-9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The event will feature Amphibians, Arachnids, and Isopods. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
El Dorado County
Placerville Powell Peach Festival
The event features food trucks, fresh peach treats, drink options, live music, and family activities. The event is taking place at The White Barn in Placerville from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Stanislaus County
Modesto Modstock Music Festival
The annual Modstock Music Festival is returning for its 16th year on Sunday at Graceeda Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free to attend and will feature 100 bands on six stages and almost 100 food and beverage vendors.
