Police sought the public’s help Thursday in identifying a suspected hit-and-run driver who injured two teenagers, one critically, last month in Long Beach.
The teens were struck around 6:20 p.m. July 25 near Market Street and Elm Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department. The teens, aged 16 and 17, were riding motorized dirt bikes westbound on Market Street when they were struck by a gray Ford Fusion heading northbound on Elm, police said.
The driver fled the scene.
Police said the 16-year-old sustained critical injuries, while the 17-year-old suffered from moderate unspecified injuries.
