A man riding a scooter was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Los Angeles early Thursday, Aug. 6, police said.
It occurred southeast of the 110 Freeway and Manchester Avenue.
Officers responded around 5:20 a.m. to Colden Avenue and San Pedro Street and found the man, who is in his 50s. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A vehicle traveling southbound on San Pedro collided with the man before fleeing, according to police.
Information about the suspect or the vehicle involved was not provided.
