Here’s a closer look at San Francisco/Northern California’s newest eateries, drinking spots, hotels, conference areas, private rooms, and other spaces available for events this summer. The new and renovated San Francisco-area venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.

In April, Hyatt Centric Fisherman’s Wharf San Francisco announced the completion of a multimillion-dollar, multi-phase renovation, reimagining the hotel as a design-forward reflection of San Francisco’s sustainability culture. The transformation includes 316 redesigned guest rooms and more than 19,000 square feet of meeting space that blend standout design with eco-conscious materials. The renovation was executed in partnership with MindClick, ensuring every detail, from custom furnishings to energy-efficient mini fridges, meets rigorous sustainability standards. For example, materials used throughout—including wall coverings, carpeting, carpet padding, paint, and furnishings—are crafted from responsibly harvested wood. Located in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf near Pier 39, the property also features a heated outdoor pool, a dedicated poolside yoga space, and on-site F&B concepts (with plenty of Napa Valley wines on offer).
The Huntington Hotel

In late 2025, The Huntington Hotel was revived by a partnership between San Francisco-based Flynn Properties and Highgate, a hospitality investment and management company, and reimagined by acclaimed creative director and designer Ken Fulk. The hotel first opened its doors in 1922 as a residential building before becoming a hotel in 1924. Perched atop Nob Hill, the historic property now offers 143 guest rooms and suites, the 8,900-square-foot Nob Hill Spa (pictured), and the return of acclaimed The Big Four restaurant. When it comes to events, planners can work with seven different venues across 7,500 square feet for groups of up to 100. This includes a private dining salon at The Big Four, which can accommodate 36 guests.

Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park (located just outside Santa Rosa) debuted a transformative expansion in May. Anchored by AYA, a dramatic new rooftop restaurant from acclaimed chef Roy Ellamar, the expansion introduces a new dining and entertainment district blending destination-worthy restaurants, nightlife energy, and elevated gaming. Spanning 144,000 square feet, the completely smoke-free district functions as its own destination within the resort, allowing guests to move seamlessly between rooftop dining, craft cocktails, sports viewing, specialty desserts, and gaming experiences. Looking ahead, Graton’s evolution will continue later this year with the debut of additional restaurants, bars, and nightlife experiences. Over the next two years, the resort’s multi-phase expansion will also introduce a new hotel tower with 220 additional guest rooms and a private VIP entrance; an adults-only pool destination featuring luxury cabanas, a dedicated bar, and live entertainment; plus a 3,500-seat state-of-the-art theater designed to host performances, residencies, and major events.

In April, Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley, Curio Collection by Hilton opened following a multimillion-dollar transformation of a former Embassy Suites property. The hotel features over 15,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, including seven meeting rooms, two boardrooms, and the scenic Redwood Lawn—ideal for receptions of up to 200 guests. The property’s transformation also includes 203 guest rooms and suites (the largest in downtown Napa by square footage), the newest outpost of famed BOA Steakhouse, an expansive pool and hot tub, and the addition of The Spa at Casa Mani. Casa Mani is being billed as the first full-service resort in downtown Napa Valley. A fun perk? Afternoon wine tastings in the lobby.
Matchplay Kitchen + Bar

Napa Valley also recently welcomed Matchplay Kitchen + Bar, which debuted at Silverado Resort in June. The restaurant is part of the final phase of the luxury golf destination’s two-year-long renovation. Formerly The Grill at Silverado Resort, Matchplay offers three distinctive dining spaces and a menu that reflects the culinary vision of executive chef Patrick Prager, built around seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant’s new design is a playful nod to vintage sport and nostalgia. It is meant to be Silverado Resort’s central dining hub for guests and visitors alike and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The main dining room features a mix of banquettes and communal tables that extend to the outdoor patio with fire pits overlooking the North Course. A semiprivate dining area, which seats up to 12 guests, is available for group dining.
The Midway SF

The Midway SF recently announced a few upgrades. The event venue is located on the city’s southern waterfront (in the revitalized Dogpatch district), near Mission Bay and Chase Center, with easy access to downtown, the Moscone Center, and SFO. The facility, which sports an updated warehouse vibe, has added a new mezzanine to its largest indoor space (Ride), adding capacity for 350 standing or 200 seated guests (an increase of 30%). Planners will also find upgraded audio, video, and lighting systems. The Midway spans 41,000 square feet, which includes indoor and outdoor event spaces and accommodates anywhere from 50 to about 3,500 guests. The venue is ideal for conferences, summits, product launches, fundraisers, private events/galas, and culinary-driven experiences. Because it’s also a music venue, The Midway offers advanced technical infrastructure.
