Night on Earth debuts a new drink menu featuring a can’t-beat deal of $13 cocktails and $8 bites. It all kicks off with a Thursday night party, 6-9 p.m., where guests can enjoy a free hot dog with any full-sized cocktail from the menu and music by DJ Tenspeed.
At its DTLA location, Joint Seafood kicks off its new offering on Aug. 14: a 10-course tasting experience by Liwei Liao that showcases fish butchery and dry-aging techniques.
In Hollywood, Udatsu teams up with House of Suntory on a spirit-led, seven-course omakase experience featuring four paired cocktails from Aug. 14-16.
On Aug. 15 from noon to 5 p.m. at Westfield Topanga Mall, North Italia teams up with the Flavas by Ed ice cream truck for a summer afternoon of zero-proof mocktail versions of North Italia’s Summer Sips beverages and Flavas’ soft serve swirls, a live air-brushed t-shirt activation and swag giveaway.
Also on Aug. 15, Joimo opens its doors from noon to 2 p.m. for an afternoon of guided kombucha tastings and brewery tours. Guests can also browse merch, Joimo bottles and other products.
For Mexican-inspired eats, First of All — the WeHo sister concept to Beachwood Cafe — now offers dinner service. Menu highlights red snapper ceviche, charred mushroom mole and slow-braised costillas de res.
And for one night only, Little Dom’s revives the original Sunday Supper of its predecessor, Dominick’s, on Aug. 16. Secure a reservation for the $21 menu featuring a green salad, beef braciole and a gelato sundae.
