Irvine-based Pokeworks reported in an Aug. 13 financial update that it opened five new restaurants in the first half of 2026, a 10% increase in locations from last year.
The poke bowl chain has eight more units under construction that are also scheduled to open by the end of the year. It currently counts 85 restaurants in total.
Pokeworks said it is doubling in year-over-year sales and transaction performance so far, fueled by its franchise partners.
The company reported $65 million in systemwide sales in 2025, up 6% from the year prior.
