Oakland County OKs $1.5M For Planned Parenthood Clinic

Officials said the move will keep the clinic, which serves roughly 6,000 residents a year, open through at least 2028.

“We know that access to preventative healthcare is essential to protecting the health, safety and welfare of Oakland County residents,” Oakland County Board of Commissioners Chair David T. Woodward (D-Royal Oak) said. “The Trump administration continues to take steps to defund Planned Parenthood, and today we took steps to prevent that from happening here.”
