The man was identified as 20-year-old Lahaina resident Legend Storer, who has ties to Southern California through Concordia University Irvine, where he competed on the men’s swimming and diving team during the 2024-25 school year, KTLA reported.
Storer was later found and booked after police identified him through surveillance footage. He was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree burglary and indecent exposure, the Los Angeles Times reported.
