Over 20 Sacramento-area firms have made the 2026 Inc. 5000 list recognizing them as the fastest-growing private companies in the nation.
The companies span various sectors, from healthcare to finance to legal services. Twelve are located in Sacramento. Folsom and Roseville each have three, while El Dorado Hills, Rocklin and Rancho Cordova have one each.
The area’s fastest growing company is MISI Community Solutions, which helps connect Medi-Cal recipients to housing and other social services. The company had an enormous three-year growth rate of 4,866%, jumping from a ranking of 235th in 2025 to 55th in the nation overall this year. Based in Roseville, MISI Community Solutions was founded in 2012 and has offices in Sacramento and Fresno.
“For us, this recognition reflects both our growth and the increasing need for accessible, community-based health and social support,” said Kseniya Nadyeyina, the company’s event manager and community partnerships lead, in a statement. “Our role is to be a bridge between people who need support and the healthcare and community systems that may have solutions. We also believe everyone has their own ‘one year later.’ Someone struggling today may be safely housed, back on their feet, or beginning a new chapter a year from now.”
The top Sacramento firm was Electro Scan Inc., which sells AI-driven electro scanning technologies to identify sewer and pipe leaks. The company ranked 926th overall with a 373% three-year growth rate.
The Inc. 5000 list is published annually by the New York-based entrepreneurship magazine. The list originally was limited to 500 companies when it debuted in 1982 before being expanded to its current size in 2007.
To qualify for the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, companies must have: generated revenue by March 31, 2022; generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2022 and at least $2 million in revenue in 2025; and be U.S.-based, privately owned, for-profit and independent (i.e. not a subsidiary) corporation.
The median growth rate of companies on the list was 130%. Of the companies listed, 660 are based in California.
