Der Biergarten brings riverfront views to its newest location in Old Sacramento

(FOX40.COM) — Riverfront views are on tap at Der Biergartens newest location in the Old Sacramento Waterfront.

After much success in their Midtown location, the family owned business ran by Sean, Erika and Jarrett Derfield is now expanding to the embarcadero in the Old Steamers Building.

You can enjoy a variety of German drinks and delights including their Sacramento favorite Starburst beer along with sausages and warm pretzels.

Der Biergarten has a variety of imported German and Belgium beer on draft while also offering Northern California craft brews.

The opening aligns with the City of Sacramento’s effort to revitalize and reinvest in Old Sacramento’s Historic Riverfront District.

Der Biergarten in Midtown is also gearing up for their 9th Annual Oktoberfest. Tickets are on sale now for their September 26th celebration.
