Bakersfield consignment shop offers back-to-school clothing deals to help families save

Back-to-school shopping can get expensive, especially when it comes to buying clothes. A Downtown Bakersfield consignment store is offering deals this month aimed at helping families save.

In Your Wildest Dreams, a consignment store in Downtown Bakersfield, has special back-to-school deals, according to co-owner Gabe Ulloa.

“One of the biggest things about our store is it’s massive,” Ulloa said. “We have a little bit of everything for everybody.”

Ulloa said second-hand clothing can be a good way to cut costs, and he pointed to several ways shoppers can save at the store, including clearance racks with some items starting at $3.

“Some of them are going to be brand new clothes,” Ulloa said. “And some will be vintage of Y2K. Y2K is very popular right now.”
