Kern County Public Health educates the community during Valley Fever Awareness Month

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — August is Valley Fever Awareness Month and Kern County Public Health is making sure the community is informed.

Valley Fever has a major impact in the central valley and educating the public can help reduce the risks.

Kern County Public Health Director Brynn Carrigan joined ARC Bakersfield to share what the community needs to know about Valley Fever symptoms and support.
