A bicyclist was injured Friday night in Fresno after being struck by a vehicle.

Officers responded to the crash at 8:41 p.m. at Cedar and Floradora avenues and found a man partially pinned underneath the vehicle.

Fire crews used their tools to lift the vehicle and pull the victim out.

According to Fresno Police Lt. James Rossetti, the bicyclist was traveling southbound in the northbound lane with no lights when a vehicle pulled out and crashed into the bicyclist at a slow speed.

The bicyclist spoke with paramedics before being taken to the hospital for further treatment.

The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating.
