A man accused in multiple burglaries over several days at a Studio City home was arrested earlier this week at the San Fernando Valley residence.

The investigation began Aug. 7 when LAPD officers responded to the 3800 block of Rhodes Avenue for a possible burglary. The homeowner was away, but received a security alarm notification and saw a stranger at the property on security cameras, police said.

A rear sliding glass door was damaged in the break-in, but it appeared the burglar was unable to enter the home.

During the days that followed, the homeowner saw the same man repeatedly enter the property on his security cameras. The man entered a separate building on the property and stolen items, police said.

On Monday, officers again responded to the residence after a report of the same man in the backyard. They located the 35-year-old suspect and arrested him on suspicion of felony burglary.

Authorities are attempting to determine whether the man is connected to other crimes.

Anyone with information about the investigation was asked to contact North Hollywood detectives.
