The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly two-vehicle crash Saturday at the intersection of Sierra College Boulevard and King Road in Loomis.
One person was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced deceased, the Sheriff’s Office said Saturday afternoon in a social media post. Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Elise Soviar said the crash happened around 9:30 a.m. and that the deceased victim was a man.
Deputies will be at the scene for several hours to investigate the crash, which involved two vehicles, according to the post. Soviar said DUI is not suspected.
Sierra College Boulevard will be closed between Delmar Avenue and Bankhead Road, and King Road will be closed between Bankhead Road and Delmar Avenue.
