A brawl broke out at a Royal Oak bar/restaurant Saturday evening during the Woodward Dream Cruise — leading to the arrest of eight men, officials said.
According to Royal Oak Police Lt. Rich Millard, charges are expected to be issued after the investigation wraps up and a report is provided to the City Attorney’s Office or the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office.
No significant injuries were reported, he said.
As of late morning Monday, five of the men were still in custody.
Millard said officers were called to the scene — Duggan’s Irish Pub on Woodward Avenue, just north of 13 Mile Road — shortly before 8 p.m. Investigators continue to review “a significant amount of video” footage in connection with the incident, he said, which includes police body camera recordings and videos posted on social media.
Police haven’t released any other information on the fight.
