BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A 35-year-old woman was arrested last week in northwest Bakersfield after probation officers said they found a semi-automatic pistol and ammunition in a search of her home, said Kern County Probation officers.
On August 13, 2026, officers with the Adult Probation Services Division conducted a home call on the 11000 block of Darlington Avenue, near Jewetta Avenue and Olive Drive. There, they contacted Ana Hernandez, who is on felony probation.
In a search, officers found a 9mm Kahr Arms CW9 semi-automatic pistol with multiple live rounds of ammunition.

Subsequently, Hernandez was arrested for possession of a firearm and ammunition by a prohibited person and a violation of probation.
