August 17, 2026 (Healdsburg, CA) — Mascarin Family Wines is one of just five new additions to the San Francisco Chronicle’s annual guide to the “Top Wineries in Sonoma County.”
Updated for 2026 by Senior Wine Reporter Jess Lander, the list highlights 24 exceptional wineries showcasing the diversity of Sonoma wine country, from multigenerational estates to emerging producers.
“We’re over the moon to be recognized alongside so many iconic wineries,” said proprietor Mia Mascarin. “Creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere and sharing reliably delicious wines is simply in our DNA, and our team brings that to life every day through their attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for what we’re pouring. In 2024, the family and winemaking team behind 32 Winds launched Mascarin Wines, bringing both labels together under the Mascarin Family Wines umbrella. Winemaker Matt Taylor, who has collaborated with the family for more than a decade, brings experience from Domaine Dujac in Burgundy, Joseph Swan Vineyards in Sonoma County, and Araujo Estate and Ink Grade in Napa Valley. He produces a small portfolio of expressive, site-driven wines sourced primarily from organically and sustainably farmed vineyards across Sonoma County.
Mascarin welcomes guests by appointment at its property just outside downtown Healdsburg, with private tastings held on a shaded creekside patio overlooking the estate vineyard. Curated picnics and charcuterie boards can be arranged in advance, and the winery also hosts small private gatherings, with wines available by the glass or bottle.
