SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The California Department of Community Services and Development announced they will be holding a remote public hearing to gather input and comments on the Draft 2026 State Plan for the U.S. Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program for Low Income Persons (DOE WAP).
Officials say the hearing is scheduled for August 28 at 10 a.m. and will be conducted online via Zoom.
The hearing is open to the public, and attendees can register at https://csd-ca.zoomgov.com/meeting/register/xPFG8521Tb67EB8dSanzRQ.
There will be an opportunity to provide public comment during the hearing.
A copy of the Draft 2026 DOE WAP State Plan is available on CSD’s website at https://csd.ca.gov/Pages/Notice-of-Public-Hearing-Draft-2026-DOE-WAP-State-Plan.aspx.
The plan outlines how the weatherization program will assist low-income residents.
