FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Job seekers looking for seasonal work in Fresno will have a chance to apply for hundreds of openings tied to one of the Central Valley’s biggest events.
The Big Fresno Fair will hold its 15th Annual Job Fair on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with department supervisors accepting applications for nearly 400 positions supporting operations of the 2026 Big Fresno Fair.
The job fair will take place in the Commerce Building at the Fresno Fairgrounds, located at 1121 S. Chance Ave. in Fresno.
Free parking will be available in the Chance Avenue lot.
Available positions include parking and admission ticket sellers, ticket scanners, customer service representatives, janitorial staff, maintenance staff, Grandstand entertainment staff, security guards, museum docents and more.
Volunteer opportunities are also available.
Candidates are encouraged to download an application in advance at www.FresnoFair.com/jobs, complete it and bring copies to the job fair.
Applications and copy machines will also be available on-site.
Applicants must bring a photo ID.
Applicants should also dress professionally; business casual attire is strongly encouraged.
The job fair, launched in 2011, is intended to highlight employment opportunities connected to the fair and its contribution to the local economy.
The Big Fresno Fair generates more than $77.1 million in economic impact for Fresno County each year.
The 2026 Big Fresno Fair is scheduled to run Oct. 7-18.
