BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a man allegedly involved in a residential burglary investigation.

Police said on Saturday, August 15th, 2026, just before 6 a.m., the suspect allegedly broke into the unoccupied home in the 2200 block of Sunset Avenue.

The suspect is described as a man, about 40 to 50 years old, with a large build, short brown hair, and wearing a grey t-shirt, dark-colored shorts, and a chain necklace with a large pendant.
