BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified a man who died over two weeks after suffering from environmental heat exposure as 59-year-old Joseph Raymond Johnson of California City.
The report said on July 7, 2026, Johnson suffered from environmental heat exposure in California City.
He was taken to Adventist Health Bakersfield, where he later died on July 22.
