32-year-old Bakersfield man dies of dehydration tied to heat exposure identified

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified a man who died from dehydration due to heat exposure as 32-year-old Dion Anthony Adams of Bakersfield.

The report said on June 24, Adams arrived at Mercy Hospital from the 1200 block of 19th Street.

The report said he was later pronounced dead the same day at around 11:03 a.m. at the hospital.

An autopsy was conducted, and his cause of death was determined to be dehydration due to heat exposure.
