Longtime San Diego high school football coach Jerry Ralph will be remembered Monday with a mass and celebration of life.
The events will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 4124 Mount Abraham Ave. in Clairemont, and are open to the public. Mass starts at 4 p.m., with the celebration of life at 5:30 p.m.
Ralph died in May at age 64. He spent 17 years as a head coach at Santana, St. Augustine, Del Norte, Hoover and El Camino, going 126-84-2.
Ralph had his most success at St. Augustine, winning 78 games and a pair of Division 3 championships over nine seasons.
Ralph spent the last several years of his career on the staff of University of San Diego High School classmate Sean Doyle at Cathedral Catholic.
