SAN JOSE — After spending almost exactly one year as a fugitive with a pending murder case, a Vallejo rapper has been arrested and booked into the Solano County jail on charges that he killed a recent Armijo High graduate in Fairfield, court records show.

Adonnis Evans, 20, who raps under the stage name “Lul Dada,” was arrested this week during a traffic stop in San Jose. He has been booked into a Fairfield jail and is expected to be arraigned next week on murder charges in the August 2025 killing. Last year, just weeks after the homicide, Solano County prosecutors charged Evans with fatally shooting 19-year-old Tamarcus Williams on the 300 block of West Texas Street in Fairfield, court records show.

Evans is also suspected of participating in the killing of 18-year-old Guardian Harper, a football star from El Cerrito and Benicia high schools who was gunned down at a house party in Bay Point. in June 2025, seven weeks before Williams’ death. The motive had to do with a rivalry between a gang in Vallejo’s Country Club Crest neighborhood and a rival group, whose members included not Harper, but one of his relatives, according to police.

Evans has not been charged in Harper’s killing, but police secured an arrest warrant to question him last year. Despite the pending murder charge in Solano, Evans continued to put out music and evaded capture. He also allegedly threatened to kill a well-known crime YouTuber who teased a video about the homicides.

Last June, the popular YouTube creator known as Swamp Storiez posted a short video discussing the facts of Harper and Williams’ killings, and said after he teased a longer video about the incident, the suspect had sent him a message threatening to “put you on a (memorial) t-shirt.”

In the since-deleted video, the YouTuber appeared masked on camera and discussed his surprise when he realized the suspect was still free. He blamed “California,” without elaboration.

Evans cannot be bailed out of jail.

Prosecutors allege that on Aug. 8, 2025, Evans shot into a Kia containing Williams outside the Fairfield smoke shop, while Evans’ girlfriend was buying them corn chips inside. Williams died inside the parked car before emergency responders arrived. Afterward, Evans allegedly ran to his waiting Nissan and the two drove south toward San Jose, according to police.

Williams, a student athlete at Armijo High, was remembered as “more than just a player,” but a part of the team’s “family,” in an Armijo Royals Facebook page post.

“He brought laughter to the locker room and big tackles on the field,” the post says.
