
A woman was stabbed early Saturday morning in a Fresno neighborhood.
Officers with the Fresno Police Department responded to the stabbing just before 3:30 a.m. near Olive and Polk avenues.
Officers arrived and found a woman with a stab wound. She was taken to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Police said the suspect was an “acquaintance” who was later arrested.
The motive for the stabbing is unknown.
Names for the victim and suspect have not yet been released.
